> The Entrance Market, is a weekly market for the Central Coast providing a socially orientated shopping experience for all to enjoy. There is also an Arts and Craft market just outside the visitors' centre on Sundays.

> The Entrance is home to one of the Central Coast’s most popular attractions, the daily pelican feed. The Pelican Feed takes place on the waterfront featuring an informative commentary entertaining and educating visitors and residents about the area's own pelican colony.
> A Bike Path stretches from the Skate Park at The Entrance to Chittaway Point around the spectacular Tuggerah Lake. This ride is ideal for the whole family with many rest points and parks along the way including playgrounds and picnic areas.
> The Boardwalk follows the channel eastwards from Memorial Park around to the surf lifesaving club. It starts at The Waterfront, a popular mall with cafes, eateries and fountains designed for the amusement of children. In the school holidays, the mall takes on a carnival atmosphere at The Waterfront.
> Vera's Water Garden is always a hit with children, who can dangle their feet in the wading pool, run through the water sprays, and climb over the brightly coloured fountains. Vera's Water Garden offers ample seating with shaded areas and free Wi-Fi so parents can just sit back and relax while the children play.
> An iconic fixture in The Entrance since the 1930’s, is the historic Entrance Carousel. Recognised by the National Trust as one of the oldest carousel’s in Australia, it has brought joy to generations of locals and tourists alike.
