Noosa Heads

Lifestyle

Jaw-dropping natural beauty - check. Perfect weather - check. Fabulous shopping and dining - check. Spectacular beaches - double check.

There is no denying Noosa and its surrounds are bonafide postcard material.

Surrounded by the tranquil waters of Laguna Bay, Noosa National Park and the meandering Noosa River, it’s not surprising that this beautiful location has long been one of Australia’s most popular beach holiday destinations.

Set back from the beach is Hastings St, Noosa’s main shopping strip filled with resort accommodation, chic cafes, high end fashion boutiques and superb alfresco dining.

Noosa’s Main Beach, is a popular (and so pretty) spot for safe swimming. Take a leisurely sunset stroll along the boardwalk or just hang out with a coldie at the local surf club and watch the waves and world go by.

Head to the far end of Hastings Street to Noosa Woods, a popular venue for concerts, weddings and riverside picnics, or head north to stunning Noosa National Park where panoramic views, bush walking trails and dolphin and whale watching are the order of the day.

Nearby Noosa Junction is home to the business precinct, backpacker hostels, and a variety of entertainment. A short drive or ferry trip from Main Beach is Noosaville - where safe river swimming, water activities and laid-back river cruises give you the full Noosa River experience.

Just a 30 minute drive from Noosa Beach is the lush Noosa hinterland, where green rolling valleys, tranquil lakes, and striking volcanic formations are sprinkled throughout sleepy country towns. Explore the local galleries, relax at a day spa, or savour local wines from boutique vineyards, all whilst breathing in stunning mountain-top vistas. Finally, if fresh local produce and hand curated crafts get you excited, then the Noosa weekend markets are must on your calendar.

With so much do, jammed into a boutique-sized paradise, it’s no wonder Noosa is unforgettable spot for locals and visitors alike.
