R&W's new Wahroonga agency

R&W's new Wahroonga agency

Richardson & Wrench has added to its strong network of offices on the upper north shore with the opening of a dedicated Wahroonga agency.

R&W Wahroonga will be headed by Nick Addison who has spent the past 14 years transacting real estate in the area, 10 of them as a principal of LJ Hooker Hornsby.

R&W owner and Managing Director Andrew Cocks said Mr Addison’s decision to join the group would increase its already strong presence in the area.

“Nick will be a great asset to the R&W Group and an excellent fit with our existing offices,” said Mr Cocks. “He has a strong network within the area, having spent most of his life living in and around Wahroonga.

“He has the qualities we value highly with a commitment to excellent customer service, a strong work ethic and he is thoroughly professional.”

Mr Addison joins R&W as a Franchise Principal under their customised franchise offering with the R&W Support Team providing office support, marketing, social media and property management functions. The business model has been designed to align with changing customer buying and search behaviour and provide franchisees with a business structure best tailored to their needs.

“It is a great opportunity to start a new business with the support of R&W Head Office,” said Mr Addison. “I’d been in partnership for a number of years and when we sold the business I was looking for a structure that would give me the freedom to do what I’m good at – build relationships with customers and sell property.”

Mr Cocks said the flexible business models offered by R&W were well-suited to agents or principals with established local profiles and a track record of successful sales.

“Nick has built his profile in the local area over the past 14 years and is in a position to leverage that valuable investment in his own brand, building upon relationships and contacts,” said Mr Cocks. “He has a large group of very talented R&W Support Team staff at his disposal to assist him with every aspect of running his real estate franchise, whether it is creating tailored marketing packages for his clients, providing property management solutions for landlords, building and maintaining a social media profile and even trust accounting."

“This support lets him focus on what he loves most and is extremely good at.”

Mr Cocks said R&W’s well-established offices on Sydney’s north shore would benefit from having another good operator in their locality.

“We are able to operate a very collegial style of network because we have defined territories,” said Mr Cocks. “Our principals have the benefit of business certainty knowing that they have exclusive rights to canvas within agreed localities which is an important factor in the culture that runs through the network.”
