Only an hour's drive north of Sydney, Norah Head is part of the Central Coast region of New South Wales. Norah Head is surrounded by natural beauty with Wyrrabalong National Park to the south and the Tasman Sea to the east whilst a short drive away you’ll find Tuggerah and Munmorah Lakes.

Although a popular summertime tourist destination, Norah Head has its quiet side with only a small number of stores servicing the local community. The streets are lined with double brick and weatherboard homes, and children are often out, pedalling their bikes or practicing their three-point turns in one of the towns many residential streets.

From its community feel to its beautiful surrounds, there is a lot to love about this beachside suburb.

> Ark Cafe is the place to go for coffee and food. The cafe is laid back and casual. Ark Cafe is located near the lighthouse, rock pool and many nature walks. Enjoy the coastal decorations and red chandeliers, or sit outdoors and watch the children in the nearby park and playground.
> Norah Head is also home to a quaint strip of local businesses, including a general store, patisserie, pizza restaurant and homewares boutique.
> Nothing is ever too far from home; in the neighbouring suburb of Toukley you will find the local Coles supermarket and a host of specialty stores.

> Voted as one of the Central Coast’s most spectacular icons, Norah Head Lighthouse boasts a notable Australian heritage as it is one of the last classical-style lighthouses in NSW. The craggy headland on which the lighthouse sits is also a vantage point for spotting humpbacks on their annual migration between May and November.
> Soldiers Beach Surf Life Saving Club is home to local beach goers, swimmers, board riders and fishermen all year round. Patrolled by lifesavers from the end of September through to April, the water is clean and the sand is whiter than at other beach on the Central Coast.
> If you have small children, Norah Head Rockpool is the place to swim.
> The rockpool is situated in Cabbage Tree Harbour, and has calm water and a boat ramp.
> Norah Head is great for rock fishing. Opportunities are abound off the local beaches with plenty of locations to cast a line in along the stunning coastline just north of The Entrance.
> Norah Head Bowling and Sports Club, fosters a genuine sense of community. Enjoy their beer garden, bring the kids along for a play on their awesome indoor playground, see regular live entertainment, or play a round of bowls with friends!
